In what perhaps has been the most amazing statement of support by any British Foreign Secretary towards the Palestinian people William Hague who when visiting Muslim and Jewish anti separation wall activists is reported to have supported "the popular resistance" to Israeli occupation and oppression.
LM is astonished because historically since Balfour we have as a country grovelled towards Israel and changes to universal jurisdiction are merely one recent example so all credit to Hague for making a significant step in the right direction.
