QPR set to sign Muslim Adel Taarabt
QPR have made a move to sign the Muslim genius Adel Taarabt and all seems very positive at this stage with Taarabt indicating his willingness to join the Rs.
The stumbling block may be the price tag Spurs are asking but with Rangers backed by billionaires and Neil Warnock showing his interest by travelling to Morroco to discuss terms with Taarabt everything seems in order for perhaps QPR's biggest and possibly most important signing of the Summer.

X Factor for Muslim Scholars in Malaysia picks top "Young Imam"
London Muslim wrote about the fantastic show in Malaysia which is the Muslim equivalent to X Factor.
The show has now chosen its "Young Imam" Muhammad Asyraf Mohamed Ridzuan who like a good Muslim thanked his parents and fellow villagers. Congratulations Brother, what an achievement who wins a scholarship to a Saudi University and a trip to Mecca.
The programme has proved to be a boost in terms of reigniting a passion for Islam amongst the youth and as mentioned previously I can't wait for the show to be screened on the Islam Channel.

Queens Park Rangers look set to sign the bad boy of English football Marlon King.

Jewish racism towards Christians
A very intesting article in the Torygraph by Damian Thompson about Jewish hostility towards Christians has generated a huge number of comments and presumably is the cue for Mark Gardner at the "Community Security Trust" and the Board of Jews to kick off about the usual boring and tired accusation of anti semitism.
The gist of the article seems to be how Thompson's mates get really ticked off by nutty orthodox Jewish behaviour in Stamford Hill. My advice to Damian Thompson is try being a Palestinian for a day to really understand about what its like to face Jewish racism which affects both Muslims and Christians rather than worry about the odd behaviour of Stamford Hill Jews.

Research shows UK Jews More Pro Israel than US Jews
A Study by Prof Steven Cohen has shown that UK Jews are more attached to Israel than American Jews.
For some of us that has always been a bit of a no brainer given the political antics of some Jews like Luciana Berger who is also an unashamed Israelite.

French Minister who wants to ban Burka set to become a Muslim?

EDL set to march in Bradford
The EDL Nazis intend to march in Bradford over the August Bank Holiday during Ramadan and the reaction from the Bradford Mosques is to put out a statement saying the EDL are not wanted.
Let me be clear to my Bradford brothers and sisters stop behaving like complete twats. Bradford Muslims need to take a leaf out of the warriors from Muslim Defence League's approach in Harrow and East London where we defended the community which resulted in the Nazi scum describing any return to London as a "suicide" attempt.

Muslim Prisoners served Pork
The scews at HMP Ford in Sussex seem to have a fairly warped sense of humour by serving Muslim lags with pork burgers over the weekend.
The governor has apologised however what seems bizarre is while the prison is clear they did not offer halal food they still don't seem entirely confident about what was on the menu. Lets hope the Muslims accept the apology and the investigation gets to the bottom of how this occurred.

London Bus company denies Muslim Burka claims
Following the well publicised claims by two Muslims students that they were denied permission to ride on a bus because one wore the Niqab it appears there is more to this story than meets the eye.

Laila Rouass the Moroccan born Muslim actress is set to hit the big screen in the new movie Shoot on Sight which is about the 7/7 suicide bombings in London.

Another Tory MP calls for banning the Burka
Tory MP for Bournemouth Richard Drax has joined his colleague Phillip Hollobone in calling for the banning of the Niqab.
Drax using the "our customs" should be followed argument seems to think the State has a role in a woman's wardrobe. I'm amused how it is right wing men in suits that continue to argue for women's faces to be uncovered while right wing women like Caroline Spelman take the opposite and correct view that a women should be free to choose what they wear without interference from the fashion police.

The murderers of Tooting Pensioner Ekram Haque
Today another grave injustice was carried out by our courts when the murderers of Muslim Ekran Haque were sentenced to a disgracefully lenient sentence for killing a pensioner in front of his 3 year old granddaughter.
The judge was wrong on a number of counts but dangerously he allowed the pictures of the murdering bastards to be published. The two scumbags will, now that their pictures have been published struggle to avoid the anonymity in Prison or Youth Offenders institutions like Feltham from Muslim lags who sadly in large part rule the prisons. Prison Officers along with Muslim Imams will need to work closely to control Muslim anger.
When they are released back into a community seething with anger about the crime and judgement community representatives will also have their work cut out to avoid a vigilante lynching of the vermin that is Leon Elcock and Hamza Lyzai. Fortunately with the MP being Sadiq Khan who obviously is close with Tooting Muslims lets hope wiser heads prevail and no retribution is considered, after all as Muslim we believe they will be punished but not in this world.

The darker side of life in Dubai
Dubai is often portrayed as a place of opportunity where a new gold rush has begun for people trying to avoid the ravages of the western credit crunch.
Sadly the reality cant be further from the truth and the experience of this expat is a salutary lesson about how you can literally end up on the streets penniless when coming up against the authorities and establishment in the guise of the banks.
My main objection to Dubai is the corrupt and sick Sheikhs who run the place and how they have used slave labour to build their gleaming towers against the basic concept of fairness within Islam recently highlighted in this fatwa about how workers should be treated under Sharia.

A Muslim faith school in Watford came a little closer to getting the green light as councillors recently discussed plans to build the school.

Boney M's "By The Rivers of Babylon" upsets Harry's Place
London Muslim had to laugh at this article over at Hasbara's Place.
The Israelites at HP really have surpassed themselves when looking for anti semites under every jam jar they now accuse Boney M who I understand were a 70's pop outfit of singing a popular song that is so laced with anti semitism it provides a "hysterical invitation to antisemitism".
For those like me unaware of Boney M do have a look at their hysterical invitation to antisemitism. Looks and sounds like karaoke will never be the same although I do have to confess I found it a feel good tune.

London Muslim has played a role in highlighting the importance of Muslims economically and in particular the term "Muslim futurists".
The Said Business school have an interesting conference next week at Oxford by the recently established Islamic branding and marketing Forum. The programme and guest list looks reasonable bar a few usual ubiquitous suspects who seem to promote themselves better than Islamic finance but nevertheless despite the Forum being aimed at "senior executives" I look forward to the debate about the role of Islam and Muslims from the economic and marketing perspective.

Apparently there will be no ban just advice that you should seek to avoid wearing the shirt.
London Muslim offers my own advice to all my Malaysian readers. Rather than behaving like glory seekers and supporting a team you would struggle to pinpoint on a map why not support a London team like QPR that do actually have Muslim players like Adel Tarabat and may sign Yazid Mansouri. How many Muslim players have Man Utd ever employed? Survey of Muslim Wife's in Malaysia shows anger with Polygamy
A survey of Muslim wife's and their children in Malaysia has shown considerable opposition to Polygamy because they believe the men are unable to devote adequate time and resources for the entire family.
While Islam and the Quran does sanction the permissibility of marrying more than one wife it does so under certain strict conditions that the man is equal to all the wife's which clearly does not appear to be the case in Malaysia.
I believe a number of Muslim men nowadays go down the four wife's route simply for the sex and nothing to do with Islam which is used as an excuse to justify their sexual appetite. Talking of appetites the elephant in the middle of the picture is clearly well fed in every sense of the word.

Muslims and Jews unite in opposition to EU food labelling
London Muslim previously highlighted the growing unity between Muslims and Jews in opposition to the labelling of Halal and Kosher Food by the EU.
Martin Hickman wrote about a group of Jewish and Muslim leaders led by the Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks calling this vote by the European Parliament "naked discrimination".

Malaysian Muslims ban "sinful" Man Utd football shirts because of "devil" emblem
Muslim scholars in Malaysia have banned people from wearing Man Utd shirts because they have the "devil" emblem on them as their crest. The scholars clearly can distinguish between what the devil looks like rather than a bloke with a stick.
Other football shirts which have the cross are also game for a ban. Not sure how much football these scholars watch but the large proportion of Muslim glory seekers don't follow Man Utd because of the Crest but because they keep winning everything. The irony of course is The Red Devils are now sponsored by Saudi Telecom.
Anyway for all Muslim brothers and sisters no longer inclined to support Utd because of the bloke with a stick my advice is come and join us down at Loftus Road and support QPR who are sponsored by Muslim Gulf Air. In addition, just got off the phone with my cousin who sadly supports Arsenal and he made the point as Gunners, with a Gun as their crest should he now not support them because currently UK guns are killing Muslims in Afghanistan?

Strange case of Saudi Princess Sara Al Amoudi a lover and the Chauffeur

Indonesia may ban coffee
Fresh from managing to convince Indonesia's Muslims to pray in the wrong direction the Ulema Council seem to be on a bit of roll as they now turn their attention to banning the world's most expensive coffee because it may be unclean.
Apparently Kopi Lawak which costs around $200 a pound is extracted from the dung of a cat then roasted. I'm not surprised the Ulema Council are urging farmers to ensure the beans are first cleaned before they are considered halal.

Tony Blair now advises Libya after meeting Gaddafi

Indonesian Muslims praying in the wrong direction to Africa rather than Mecca
Indonesian Muslims appear to have been praying in the wrong direction according to the Ulema Council.
Rather than praying to Mecca somehow they managed to get their direction wrong and pray to Somalia in Africa. With Ramadan coming up, for those in Indonesia wishing to sight the moon its the round white thing up in the sky or specifically when first sighted the Crescent. I always find a compass rather useful.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi returns to her Pakistani roots
Baroness Warsi the Tory party Chair has returned to her Pakastini roots and been given a rock star reception.
The feisty northern Muslim lass has returned to her family village and understandably Pakistan is proud of her achievements. While London Muslim is no Tory and disagrees with a number of her views Warsi should be congratulated for achieving her current political status. The slight irony is all those Pakistani's turning up to greet her with their visa's wont be getting clearance to enter the UK any time soon.
Muslims object to blind people on buses because of guide dogs
The latest On the Buses saga involves Muslim Bus drivers and passengers refusing to allow blind people to bring their guide dogs onto buses because in the eyes of some primitive medieval fruitcakes the dogs are unclean.
The Govt now look set to take action. My advice would be to kick the Muslims off the bus and sack the drivers for breaching equality legislation while my advice to fellow brothers and sisters is if the dog annoys you so much get off and wait for the next bus you idiots.
Caroline Spelman calls the burka "dignified" and "empowering"
Caroline Spelman the Environment Secretary and one of the Government's most senior female Ministers has said wearing the Niqab is "dignified" and "empowering".
Speaking "as a woman" she went on to say " I don't, living in this country as a woman want to be told what I can and can't wear" which is exactly what London Muslim said perhaps in a slightly more colourful way.

Enough has been said on the Burka but Old Holborn encapsulates my view by telling men and Parliament to "get the xxck out of my wardrobe"
I should add well done to Damien Green for opposing a ban correctly stating it is "un-British". Lets leave it to twats like the frogs who hypocritically have their mistresses while claiming to be banning the burka for women's liberty.

Malaysia's Islamic Gold Dinar set to be legal tender
Malaysia is set to take a stand against western capitalism and the mess white blued eyed bankers got the world economy into by announcing the Islamic gold dinar as a new form of legal tender.
Given the credit crunch and lack of liquidity in money markets the future is clearly Islamic finance which is why London Muslim wishes the Malaysians in the northern state of Kelantan the very best with this return to how Islam mandates Muslims to trade.
